466..

days without a full night's sleep. But who's counting? Surely not little Brando. That kid, I tell you. I feel like I am becoming a totally boring space-cadet of a person and I truly don't see an end in sight. He does not want to stop nursing. He just absolutely does not like food. Once in a while he'll eat some, especially if it's butter, but really, can a person live solely on butter?
I want to write about Roland Burris, how mad I am at Pioneer Press (stupid dumb idiots closing down my newspaper) and how much I love Obama and his first week in office, but that will have to wait for another day. Also, if you ever find yourself watching Elmo's Potty Time beware, because those songs are Catchy! And who wants to be caught at work singing "accidents happen / when you're asleep or when you're napping." Not me, sister. But damn it's a catchy number.
And if you haven't seen the President on Check Please, definitely check it out!

Oh my hell, that sounds so awful:( I fear that is in my future, because Grace already knows the very second she's being put down, and will wake up out of a dead sleep to SCREEEAM.

last night on Supernanny, she visited a family whose 2yo twins wouldn't eat anything except baby food. I wish there was a way to have Supernanny come to your house without having to show the whole world the mistakes you've made, because I have a strong feeling I'll need THAT in the future, too.

when you do find something that works for Brendan, let me know. Maybe we should just introduce him and Gracie and they can have all-night parties together, and then one day get married and have babies that never, ever sleep and we can sit back with a glass of wine and laugh our asses off.

OMG, I love that plan and I will move next door to you tomorrow so we can enact it. I was jealous that Mason was going to be Grace's boyfriend, but I was over there when Melissa spent a few minutes putting him down for a nap with no screaming at all, so I think Brendan and Gracie are more compatible. :o) And I think it's more likely that you will be the one to discover the cure, so when that happens please let ME know.

Elmo's Potty Time?? Yikes, I would certainly be singing duets with you!! Tell Brendan he's going to start earning days of grounding for when he's older. Noah is up to 2 weeks from when he was "naughty" in the hospital. HI!!! to Liam and Eric, too!
